From 21st to 26th May 2023, a group of ten students from several fourth classes of our school are living a full-immersion experience in Bruxelles.
With a group of peers from the Innsbruck school HTL Anichstraße and a group of 10 students from IISS G. Galilei of Bolzano, they approach the European Institutions, reflect about European citizenship and explore the opportunities provided by the EU.
The students are accompanied by four teachers, two of them from our school, one from South Tyrol and one from Tyrol.
Thanks to two online meetings all students met each other before the mobility and shared information and materials regarding the EU Institutions to be visited in Bruxelles; moreover they discussed hot topics, such as climate changes, Ukrainian war and immigration, in order to be prepared for the mobility experiences.
The Euregio Representation office in Brussels supported the project and the visits to the main European Institution.
According to the students, the activities are providing knowledge of the opportunities and the challenges offered by Europe to young generations.
The experience is done in English and in mixed groups of students with the additional aim to improve language skills.
The overall aim for the students is to fully embrace European citizenship, values and awareness.
